Joan Jett is an American Rock guitarist, singer and songwriter. She started off with one of the first all-girl rock bands 'The Runaways', along with Cherrie Currie. The band soon split and Joan Jett found success in a solo singing career. She released singles 'I love Rock'n'roll' and 'Bad Reputation'. She soon put an advert in the local paper, asking for male musicians. She took in three men, a drummer, bassist and guitarist and they became 'Joan Jett and The Blackhearts'. They released hits such as 'I love Rock'n'roll, Bad Reputation, I hate myself for loving you and Love is Pain. Joan Jett is a talented musician, with a bit of bad reputation. She is a unique rock chic, with amazingly music abilities. I would recommend her music for anyone who loves rock music.
